Juan Cortés Amaya
“A genius of art”.
Like Mozart for music, Bobby Fisher for chess, little William James for mathematics or Pablo Picasso for painting, Juan Cortés Amaya, “Juanito” to family and friends, amazes art connoisseurs with his colorful and vibrant large-format pictorial works.
As if he were a new Jackson Pollock, Juanito faces the canvas with surprising confidence. He works by resting the canvas horizontally on the ground and on its surface he spreads it out on some occasions, and on others, he drops the paint and other objects that are integrated into the work and that add form and color while adding plasticity.
Clara de Bobes
Clara de Bobes draws her material from an ever-developing archive of personal photographs and images torn from magazines and newspapers. Her paintings are not a literal interpretation of her photographic sources. The size, presentation, and color make them a portrait of what underlies the aesthetics of the visible, with emotion and passion that under the skin of everyday reality, drags us into the realm of dreams.
In 2018 Clara de Bobes won a competition to participate in The Latin American Contemporary Fine Art exhibition held in December 2018 at Agora Gallery 530 West 25th Street, New York.
He is an abstract painter as well as a prolific musician, singer, and composer. He uses his work, with bold strokes and earthy, atmospheric tones, as an expression of his individual freedom.
Here he talks about mental health, his inspiration, and how his ideas evolve.
Born on March 18, 1971, in Madrid, she loves the mixture of colors and textures, and as a good artist, all paper was good to capture my ideas into a canvas as just a smell an interesting moment.
In 2007 she started her solo career collaborating with franchises throughout Spain, decorating their stores with murals and large-format artistic paintings until 2012.
